Dr. Navneet Kaur is a distinguished academician, researcher, and mentor recognized for her impactful contributions to dental sciences and interdisciplinary healthcare research. With a strong foundation in Periodontology and regenerative therapies, she has consistently demonstrated excellence in academics, research output, and professional mentorship on national and international platforms.
Educational Excellence
Dr. Kaur completed her BDS from National Dental College and Hospital, Derabassi (affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences) in 2007. She earned her Master’s degree in Periodontology and Oral Implantology from Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research, Faridabad (affiliated with Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak) in 2016, where she secured the top position at the postgraduate level. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Dental Sciences from Desh Bhagat University.
Academic & Professional Leadership
With over seven years of teaching experience, Dr. Kaur has served as Lecturer and currently as Reader in the Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology at National Dental College and Hospital, Derabassi. She has actively mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students, guiding research projects while fostering scientific inquiry and academic excellence.
She is a Life Member of the Indian Society of Periodontology and a member of the Indian Dental Association. She has delivered keynote presentations, chaired scientific sessions at national conferences, and contributed significantly to professional dental forums in India and abroad.
Research Contributions & Publications
Dr. Kaur has authored more than 70 research publications in national and international journals and has written 8 academic books published by Lambert and Notion Press. She has also contributed to the book Dental Trauma (IntechOpen).
She serves as Associate Editor and Peer Reviewer for reputed journals including Cureus Journal of Medical Sciences, International Journal of Dental Medicine, EC Dental Sciences, Acta Scientific Publications, and Heliyon (Cell Press). She has reviewed over 160 research articles and contributed as Editor for Futuristic Trends in Medical Sciences (IIP Series, 2024).
