Every great journey begins with a vision, and for Ar. Faiyaz Bhayji, that vision was to create spaces that inspire and transform lives. His story is one of passion, resilience, and an unbreakable commitment to excellence.
The Humble Beginnings
With an innate curiosity for design and construction, Faiyaz started his journey with a Draughtsman Civil course at ITI Ankleshwar, Gujarat (2012-2014). Determined to gain hands-on experience, he took up construction site supervision training (2014-2015) while mastering AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, and SketchUp at an Autodesk-approved center. His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a Civil Engineering diploma from Shree KJ Polytechnic College, Bharuch (2015-2017).
Early Career and Entrepreneurial Leap
Faiyaz gained invaluable experience working under seasoned architects and builders, managing commercial projects while handling small freelance assignments. In 2018, he founded his own firm, MODERN DESIGN FIRM, offering architectural, interior design, and construction consulting. Simultaneously, he launched a design software training center, training over 200 students in industry-leading software.
Between 2018 and 2022, he successfully completed over 100 projects, including residential, commercial, and religious structures such as masjids and temples, earning a reputation for quality and affordability.
The Birth of FAIYAZ BHAYJI DESIGN
In 2023, with his brother Faizan Bhayji joining him, the firm underwent rebranding as FAIYAZ BHAYJI DESIGN. Today, it operates with a core team of six professionals and 25-30 site staff, offering turnkey solutions in architecture, interior design, structural engineering, construction, and government approvals.
Recognitions and Achievements
Faiyaz’s excellence in design has been recognized with prestigious awards. In March 2024, FAIYAZ BHAYJI DESIGN won the ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN EXCELLENCE AWARD & CONFERENCE 2024 NATIONAL EDITION for Outstanding Entrepreneur & Designer of the Year 2024 (Gujarat).
In 2025, he was honored with the Prestigious Fames Awards – Best Architect of the Year! These accolades solidify his impact on the architectural landscape of Gujarat and beyond.
