Gaurav Agarwal’s journey reflects determination, clarity of purpose, and the courage to take unconventional decisions. Born and raised in Assam, he was recognized early on as a bright and disciplined student, securing top ranks in both his 10th and 12th examinations. He later pursued higher education at St. Xavier’s University, stepping onto a path that many would consider secure and promising.
Yet, during this phase, he realized that his true ambition extended beyond traditional career routes. Driven by a long-held vision of building his own enterprise and contributing to his home state, he made the bold choice to return to Assam and begin his entrepreneurial journey from scratch.
The initial years were challenging, marked by uncertainty and limited resources. However, with resilience and family support, he formally entered the business landscape in 2018. Over time, his efforts grew into a diversified enterprise operating across FMCG, Electrical & Electronics, and E-2 & 3 Wheelers. His ventures have contributed not only to commercial growth but also to employment generation and regional economic development.
In addition to entrepreneurship, Gaurav serves as the Finance Incharge of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Hojai District, under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His role reflects active involvement in youth leadership and organizational management.
His contributions have also been formally recognized. He has been honored with the prestigious Rabindra Ratna Puraskar, presented by the Veyil Foundation, acknowledging his impact as a businessman and social contributor. Furthermore, he has been awarded the title of Young Entrepreneur of the Year, celebrating his entrepreneurial excellence and growing influence.
