Dr. Amitbodh Upadhyaya: A Pioneer in Education, Research, and Environmental Conservation

Dr. Amitbodh Upadhyaya has experience of more than 26 years of teaching & is currently on the faculty of Department of Chemistry at the Lakshmi Narain College of Technology & Science (LNCT & S ), Bhopal. He obtained his Ph.D. from Vikram University, Ujjain in 2000. He has been teaching courses on Engg. Chemistry/Applied Chemistry & Environmental Chemistry He has published about 20 research papers in International and National Journals & about 30 research papers in seminar, conference . His fields of interest are Chemistry , Environment , Pollution Control & Student Development and has organized many seminars/conferences/workshops in these areas. Prior to taking up teaching as a profession, he has worked in industry for about five years.He has been involved in the functioning of various projects/ clubs / Local Chapters.He is currently president of Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of LNCT&S, SPOC of NPTEL , Coordinator of Quest Nature Club, Registered with WWF – I.He has been recognised as “NPTEL STAR” by NPTEL( nptel.ac.in) sixteen times so far.He has been recognised/ awarded/ honoured by many international/ national organisation for his excellent work in the fields of environment, teaching & students development.
